seeking proposals from Research consultants/ organizations that are willing to
conduct the following assignment in Islamabad, Chakwal and Vehari:
Research on the Services-based Industry
Location: Islamabad
Purpose:
The overall purpose of the research is to assess the recent trends and
requirements in the market within the Services sector, which can assist in
planning for enterprise development and training programs, which will further
help build youth participation and employability in this sector.
Baseline Study of Bari Imam/Muslim Colony
Location: Islamabad
Purpose:
Plan has intended to minimize the vulnerabilities of children living in Bari
Imam Colony, Islamabad. Based on initial assessment Plan aims to engage local
residents to take charge of activities, to generate internal and external
resources, to sustain their development and to bring about changes in the
quality of life of their children. For this purpose Plan Pakistan wants
consultant/organisations to conduct the baseline study in the light of the
project document.
Gender disparity in primary and secondary school attendance ratio in
Chakwal and Vehari
Location: Chakwal and Vehari
Purpose:
Plan Pakistan intends to conduct a research to find out exact reasons associated
with the non-enrolment and drop out of girls after primary levels. Based on the
research findings the consultants will also suggest the strategy to combat the
phenomena in the context of right based approach. Outcome of the research will
be used by Plan Pakistan to develop programs to address the root causes of
issue, and for developing a stronger campaign on girl’s education and protection
and to link it with the Plan international campaign “Because I am a Girl” (BIAAG)
Child Centered Community Development ( CCCD ) Material Development
Location: Islamabad
Purpose:
The over all aim of the assignment is to review, develop, pilot test and
finalize standardized guidelines for complete process on CCCD for Plan Pakistan,
Plan partner organizations and communities.
Exploring potential for local resource mobilization in District Chakwal
Location: Chakwal
Purpose:
Plan Pakistan Program Unit Chakwal intends to conduct a qualitative research for
exploring the hidden potential of local resources mobilization. The outcome of
the study will be used for community and CSOs capacity building for utilization
of the available opportunities in the district for development work in there
areas.
The proposals along with the profile should reach Plan office (Technical and
