Plan Pakistan began its programs in Pakistan in 1997 and is currently working in Chakwal, Islamabad and Vehari. Plan implements its programs and projects at the grassroots level in Health, Education, Water and Sanitation, Income Generation, and Building Relations

Country Program Support Manager

The incumbent will be responsible to provide the Country Program Managers and key staff with technical advice and support to develop capabilities in community development program design, implementation and evaluation; and to support the achievement of country program goals that are aligned with Plan's program principles.

Major Responsibilities:

  1. Facilitate the design of program related to various sections of the Country Strategic Plan.
  2. Document and disseminate Plan best practices from within Plan and from other organizations to promote quality and learning
  3. Support program staff in design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programs through ensuring technical support
  4. Facilitate the establishment and implementation of standards of accountability, effectiveness and efficiency in the achievement of Plan's program results and impacts
  5. Manage and support in country and Asia regional program networks for learning and improvement
  6. Participate on the country management team

Preferred Experience/Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated record of excellence in providing support to integrated programs affecting child poverty
  • Five years as a development professional in planning, monitoring, evaluating programs and managing technical support
  • Five years experience in a senior management position preferably in an international organization
  • Strategic thinker with good analytical and interpersonal skills

  • Developing and writing grant proposals
  • English language fluency (written/spoken)
  • Master or higher degree in the relevant discipline
  • Proficiency in use of computer
